Long-term partnership for optimum Wi-Fi coverage in Match/Smatch supermarkets
Our cooperation with Match started about 10 years ago. We installed the initial Wi-Fi access points and advised them in their choice of laptops for an easier follow-up of inventory and stock management. Once a certain product’s barcode scanned, the system indicates that a stock replenishment is required. However, the terminals need regular updates, in order to remain compatible with the latest technology.
In the frame of the renewed cooperation we ensured the configuration of access points, the wireless controller and project management for each store. Our system offers the advantage of remotely detecting any problems encountered at an access point. In total, we replaced about 400 access points. Quite a lot, if you consider that each store has at least two access points. For the Belgian Match stores, 62 are still to be implemented.
In addition to the technical benefits, the partnership with us also offers financial advantages: owing to the high number of terminals concerned, we are able to offer attractive prices. Furthermore, the maintenance teams' travel expenses are calculated on a fixed-rate basis, which is advantageous for the numerous Match sites across Belgium and Luxembourg.
